What a relief!

Before last weeks Trumpalooza, aka the RNC, I had been kinda worried. I thought the US was struggling with an almost out of control pandemic. I also thought that the levels of social unrest made the Viet Nam stuff look pretty minor. Additionally of course, there were a couple of hurricanes bearing down on some well populate real estate. Apparently not problem.

The pandemic seems to have faded into the background. Not that it is going to magically disappear as the Trumpster claimed but certainly something from the past. They aren't getting sick or dying at nearly the rate they were a few weeks ago. The social unrest it seems is largely the work of left wing socialists and there can't be that many of them in the states. The hurricanes apparently were not as large as Katrina so, as Alfred E Nueuman was so fond of saying.. “What me worry”?

It is a great relief, unless of course they are lying!
