We are not all in the same boat!

In the call for unity it is common to hear slogans such as "we are all in this together"....so true and "we are all in the same boat" ...so not true. Some of us are in very fine boats, even yachts. Others are not so much in a boat as clinging to a piece of driftwood. This said it is time to remember (the ghost just walked) and those of us who get pay cheques or pensions cheques need to give a little or a lot to their favourite local charity.
Your neighbors may be hurting!
Victoria BC is heavily reliant on the tourist industry which has been hit hard with the border closure and cruise ship ban. Taking a carriage ride through one of our oldest neighbourhoods was a fantastic family experience and one I wouldn't have thought of before.
