Two Much Information, TMI

In the last while, I have from time to time been entertained and helped along by the decrease in privacy engendered by social distancing. Hearing neighbours sing happy birthday to their distanced friends or even an open discussion at the Beer Store of family planning by a newly married community member was fine.

There is perhaps a limit or a downside (unintentional pun to be explained later) to these public presentations. A few days ago I made one of my rare trips to Walmart (note the self serving righteous liberal phrasing) to buy toilet paper. I left a great supply last October when I left and only recently thought maybe I should buy more. I went to Walmart because that is the only place that stocked the brand my wife preferred. In defence of my wife”s reputation toilet paper was the only thing she would buy there.

With the passage of time I have forgotten which brand was preferred and thus was scanning the ample supply. A women that I have never seen before asked me to move because I was blocking access to a brand that she was quite excited about. This is where the story turns a bit weird or bottoms out so to speak. My new friend encouraged me to buy “Great Value”, featured as “soft and Strong” (“Doux et Robuste” en francais on the wrapper) because she said she had not one but two special sensitivities down there and "Great Value", in addition to being a great value, caused no irritation. This falls in the category of TMI.

I am pleased she found what she wants and now I own thirty rolls, which the package declares equals 100 regular rolls.
