Think About It!

It is hardly profound to suggest that the current political situation in the US is a mess. The occupant of the White House is a slug, the Republican party appears, in almost all respects, to have abandoned responsibility and the Covid Pandemic is largely out of control. As neighbours and long term friends perhaps we could be a bit more reflective. These are easy times for arrogance.

Contempt for POTUS spills over into contempt for the American form of government and Americans. We would do well to remember that they gave us Obama, twice. Even if you don't like his politics it is hard not to admire the man, as classy a figure as we have seen for some time.
