The times they are a changing

It just gets quieter and quieter with each passing day. There are still only seven cases being reported for Oaxaca with three being people who had travelled and the others being people in contact with the original three. There is some cynicism with regard to how accurate these figures are but that is the best available information. Bars and restaurants are shutting down but not all of them. I suspect I could go out for dinner and maintain good social distance. I wont. I did go out for a walk this morning and was pleased to see that the protest in the Zocolo was over. In actual fact they were power washing the street and there was a crew wiping down benches and posts with gel. I also passed through a fairly empty supermarket and although wipes are sold out there is not any evidence of hoarding. The toilet papers supply is pretty good.
