The curve is not flattening at the food bank!

As we roll over from April to May many of us will receive pension checks or pay checks. Unfortunately many will not. Our positive bank balances, or at least mine, reflects the fact that the people I would normally share with are out of work. Although our government is stepping up to the plate with programmes that aim to lessen the pain, many families are experiencing a serious drop in income. The pressure on food banks and other non-profits is considerable. Many of us pay attention to these needs during the Christmas season as the tax year rolls to a close. This is laudable but the need is now. Help out please. .

Maybe think about helping out every payday until the situation normalizes.
