Snitchy, snitchy Poo

Wix says ...enter a catchy title. That came to mind.

You gotta love a country where you can still buy a litre of 80% hand sanitizer. I do love this country, almost as much as I love my real country. It is really weird here. Very few cases, and stage two of mitigation is full on. We are not locked down but clearly serious steps are being taken. Physical distancing is in order. People on the street make an effort to stay away. Popular gathering places, restaurants in the Zocolo etc. , are mainly closed and most of the street vendors and informal tiendas are gone.

I fear for their welfare since they operate in a hand to mouth economy but this is a country in which, from my naive point of view, there is a strong sense of collective responsibility. I hope I am not wrong.
