Oy Veh!!!!

If someone could just hack this account and remove the things that I posted by mistake my belief in a higher power would be enhanced. I have not recently written a book nor do I live in San Francisco. Repeated attempts to remove these details have failed. Also, I can't find a honey of an intro that I wrote explaining that this is going to be pretty boring because up until I got myself stranded here...intentionally, I had a pretty boring profile as in: went to school, got degrees, got married, had great kids and retired. I also got widowed which is really weird, not at all boring and nothing I ever wished for. Well maybe there were a couple of days but generally I never thought I would be the survivor.

For a number of years now I have celebrated my retired status by wintering in Oaxaca Mexico. I now spend roughly half my time in Mexico and half my time in Canada. Well at least that was the plan, CoronoV is having impact. Since the situation up to now has looked better here, in Oaxaca, than in Ontario I am still in Oaxaca. Today was the first day I felt that I might be in trouble. Things have really slowed down over the last few days and tomorrow is the start of stage two of the Mexican response. What the response will look like is unclear. By tomorrow night most of my good friends who are seasonal visitors will be tucked into their Canadian or American cots. Some serious alone time looms.

Today may be the template for a dreadful period while things get sorted out. Got up. Went jogging on empty streets. Cooked breakfast. Read, listened to music, did a bit of drawing, spent an unreasonable amount of time trying to clean up this blog and post it to Google, watched a movie in an empty bar and talked on the phone. Wowser, wowser, wowser.
