Out of the frying pan etc.

So this is day one of my two day saga to leave a state that has fewer than 10 cases and head for a province that by the time I finish writing will have more than a thousand. Go figure. Having watched countless friends shift back and forth on the go or stay continuum I am joining the leavers. Still quite uncertain but feeling I will be happy to be quarantined for fourteen days in my own home. Such a strange idea, looking forward to quarantine.

It is a gorgeous day here. Probably a bit hot. Tomorrow in Canada it will be cool. That used to bother me but things have changed a lot and this concern goes to the bottom of the pile.
