Oh Boy, A tale of two Countries!

Having talked and texted with Canadian Friends the contrast is surprising to say the least. Most public functions have been cancelled but AMLO, the Mexican president, is still telling people to get out and spend money, take the family to dinner etc but maintain good spacing. He said in his morning briefing that when it is time to go home he will say so but for now, keep clean and maintain reasonable distances. As I understand it, this should not be interpreted as a Trump like folly but rather as a reflection of early stage practice in managing CoronoV.

My Canadian friends say they are basically locked down and in fact getting home from the airport, as I indicated previously, will be a challenge. Current plan...drive rental car to my house, drop of suitcase, drop of car at rental agency and walk home unless a taxi or Uber becomes available. I have no symptoms, feel pretty good except for the background travel tension but I am heading for a two week lock down.
