It's the little things.

Couple of days back I mentioned having time to notice the birds in my Pergola. Today I got to see what all the action was about. Right at eye level and less than eight feet from my window there is a Morning Dove sitting on her nest. How cool is that and how nice that I spotted it before going out and flashing up my leaf blower to start the gardening season whilst terrifying the poor bird.

The other day my neighbor who had graciously offered to pick up a few things from Zehrs returned with my stuff and a big bunch of Tulips. Turns out that Zehrs was giving them out for Easter and to cheer folks up. A nice touch, I was missing having flowers in the house after routinely having them in Oaxaca.
