I miss the punctuation!

Until recently my life and that of many others consisted of sequences of activity followed by what we might describe as terminal or transitional rituals, things we do to mark the end of a sequence or a shift to a new activity. We play golf and then we go for beer to talk about the game and other profound matters. We go for a walk with a friend and we finish up with a coffee. We go shopping and when that is done we stop for lunch. On a broader scale we complete a weeks work with TGIF marking our transition to the weekend. These terminal or transitional events are the punctuation and the events are the sentences in our lives.

Now that the punctuation has been taken away, life is just one big run on sentence. That is not good.
