Blogging while Drunk..BWD

Not that I am drunk, although I will admit to a great Mescal Margarita and glass of Concho y Torro Sauvignon Blanc as I prepared and ate dinner. Just struck me that BWD is likely to be a whole new group of offences against society that arise because of the internet.

I am not drunk but it also strikes me that because of the aforementioned consumption I might not normally be prepared to share what follows. I have been living in Mexico for awhile and it might be useful to know that in Oaxaca we eat grasshoppers routinely, state your preference, small, medium or large. We also, from time to eat gusanos (worms, not just those found in the bottom of mescal bottles, but several varieties). We almost always share our living spaces with ants. Get used to it, they are coming if they have not already moved in.

So what is my confession. While blogging and cooking a great meal of Argentinian Sausages and fresh Broad beans ( habas) I dumped the entire pan of sausages on the floor. Mexican stoves are really unstable...honest it wasn't me. The thing is what did I do? Not gonna say, other than to say some serious searing took place. Paired with my friend Bob's abandoned mustard and butter it was great.
