A little sunlight

The general context for our lives is a mess. This said, its interesting how little things come to matter. The other day I reacted like a kid on Christmas morning when I came across a stash of Dental Floss, roughly enough to stretch from Thorold to Vancouver. I had been watching my initial supply shrink and wasn't feeling justified in asking a friend to go out and get me some.


Today, looking out the window on a gorgeous sunny day I noticed that the vines in my pergola were loaded with busy little birds gathering bits and pieces for making nests. Most years I don't notice that.
